Emily Mahar Cannon ND
Dr Emily Mahar Cannon is a licensed Naturopathic doctor in the State of Vermont. Born and raised in central Vermont, she returned to her home state with her husband and family in 2008 to open her private practice and start Integrated Medicine LLC.
She holds a degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Dartmouth College, and a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland Oregon. She became interested in natural medicine and the holistic mindset of naturopathic doctoring after completing her pre-medical course work at Dartmouth and simultaneously studying biology and environmental science. She met a Naturopathic Physician and felt the profession would offer the opportunity to blend modern medical knowledge and understanding of physiology with a refreshing, holistic and scientific approach to reversing or slowing disease states and maintaining health and wellness. Her ultimate goal is to use all of the tools at her discretion (traditional, conventional and alternative medicine therapies) to help patients experience an improved quality of life, whatever that may be for each patient.
